Matt Dolan Launches Statewide #OhioMatters Tour

7/12/2021

CHAGRIN FALLS – State Senator Matt Dolan today announced the launch of a statewide #OhioMatters listening tour as part of his exploratory committee for U.S. Senate. The tour will kick off with a luncheon at the Lake County Republican Headquarters on July 13 and then continue across Ohio in the weeks ahead.

“The race for U.S. Senate needs to be about Ohio and that is why I am launching the statewide ‘Ohio Matters’ Tour, to travel to every corner of our state hearing directly from Ohioans on the issues that matter most to them,” said State Senator Matt Dolan.

“Joe Biden, Chuck Schumer and Tim Ryan embrace the mantle of socialism. They crave the centralization of power and a one-sided radical agenda in Washington. It’s up to Ohio Republicans and our next nominee for U.S. Senate to stop this agenda in its tracks. Our party needs a proven, commonsense conservative reformer who can be counted upon to stand by their word and put Ohio’s needs first. Where others offer talk, I can show results.

“As a State Senator and Chairman of the Finance Committee, I designed, passed and implemented budgets that reduce the size and scope of government and deliver record-breaking tax cuts to Ohio families and businesses. As a member of the Senate’s Republican Leadership, I worked with my colleagues to set and deliver a policy agenda that protects the unborn, preserves medical and religious freedoms, champions school choice, and defends the Second Amendment.

“Now that the state budget is complete, I’m prepared to take my exploratory efforts directly to everyday Ohioans, about the issues that matter to them and what they want from their next U.S. Senator. I’m looking forward to having some fun along the way,” Dolan concluded.

The first two weeks of Dolan’s #OhioMatters tour will include stops in Lake, Trumbull, Mahoning, Cuyahoga, Franklin, Lorain, Lucas, Wood, Ottawa and Ashland Counties.
